I have been working with the SSM solution for quite some time. What I see is a lack of information and documentation around the BI integration with SSM. I am finding it more and more common that customers are requesting Xcelsius (Dashboard) or WebI reports integrated into SSM.
The formal documentation in section 5.6 of the sbop_sm_config_server_help.pdf is incorrect...The prerequisite mentions BI4, although the document references BOBJ suite 12 (XIR2) in the registry entries to name one of dozens of errors...
Can someone please provide some answers to the following:
1.Provide a step by step document that will enable someone who has SPOB BI4.0 (BusinessObjects 4.0) and Strategy Management 10 (SSM10) to integrate?
I also have access to the sapdemocloud. The SSM solution cannot be showcased with BI integration...How does SAP expect to gain market share with SSM when they themselves do not even provide SSM demonstrations with their own BI tools...
2. Is there a good demo that shows the SSM and BI integration?
Looks like SAP have even dropped their interest in the Risk Management solution integration...No collateral (beyond 4+ years old)..This should be something SAP work on...Having KPIs and KRIs on the same page...Perfect....
3.The SSM demo team need to pull their finger out...Where is the latest collateral / sales kit?
