Import Database from 10 to 10.1

Hello Experts,

I would like to consult you weather my procedure to import the database from previous version is ok or not.

We updated from SM 10 to 10.1 SP4 on our dev environment. in order to have data to test, we tried to import the current database from production (version 10) into our dev environment.

We exported from tools screen all data in a zip file. After that I have moved the file to the dev enviroment (import directory) and we continue with the same procedure by importing the file.

actually the system shows "success" but we cannot find data imported, just the structure is imported.

Last time we tried to delete current data before import but we obtained the same results.
